Welcome Message

The Neuron to Brain Laboratory is interested in the pursuit of knowledge and the importance of the question “why”, with a specific focus on the brain. Our lab is interested in electrical oscillations, both physiological and pathological. Our workspace comprises electrophysiological signals from single cell (in vivo and in vitro) to large scale recordings in different sized brains (from mouse to human). Computational techniques are applied to these signals to decode and possibly control brain activity, and behavior. Collectively, our social conscience motivates us to raise awareness about epilepsy as we fundamentally believe knowledge is both power, and quality of life.

We are grateful to have funding and support for our research through donations, government grants, non-profit foundations, other funding agencies, patients and their families.
